We adopted two cats from a shelter about a month ago. They were both fairly healthy and what health problems exist had been treated. However, the older of the two (renamed Whiskey) was very insecure and unkempt.
Today Whiskey is grooming himself, comfortable enough to be an asshole because we don't let him outside and is generally a normal feline pain in the ass. I'm quite fond of him.
